Susan R. Zandhuis leads the 3-D concept development and interior design vision for Palmetto Superfoods projects. Having created more than nine Palmetto concepts to date, Susan’s expertise ensures the brand’s look and feel is expressed with precision. Her role includes concept modeling, finishes, materials, and fixture integration, resulting in photorealistic 3-D presentations for landlord and client approvals.

Susan R. Zandhuis is the Founder and Principal Designer of DECOBAY, an Architectural and Interior Designd Firm dedicated to create refined spaces that integrate architecture, interiors, and bespoke materials. With over 20 years of experience in the design industry, Susan brings a comprehensive understanding of spatial planning, construction processes, and design development to every project.

Her work spans Residential and Commercial environments, where she collaborates closely with Architects, Engineers, Builders, and Clients to transform ideas into thoughtful and cohesive spaces. Susan is recognized for her ability to translate a client’s vision into a clear design direction while maintaining consistent communication throughout the design and construction process.

Through DECOBAY, Susan leads projects from concept development and architectural coordination to material selection, cabinetry design, and FF&E curation, ensuring that every element contributes to a cohesive design narrative. Her approach emphasizes clarity, craftsmanship, and functional elegance, creating environments that support the way people live, work, and interact.
